Compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, CQLR c P-40.1 as amended by Bill 29
1. Purpose
Viking Range LLC ("Manufacturer") addresses compliance with sections 39 and 39.1 of the Consumer Protection Act, CQLR c P-40.1 (the "CPA"), as amended by Bill 29, and sections 79.18 and 79.19 of the Regulation respecting the application of the Consumer Protection Act, CQLR c P-40.1, r 3 (the "Regulation") regarding the warranty of availability of parts, repair services, and information necessary to maintain or repair the goods (the "Warranty").
2. Manufacturer's Obligation
Manufacturer shall provide Retailer with a notice disclosing the availability of the Warranty (the "Notice"), both as a hyperlink to Manufacturer's online disclosure referred to in section 79.18 of the Regulation for use in Retailer's online transactions and in a printable format for use in Retailer's brick-and-mortar stores.
Manufacturer shall also advise Retailer to which goods the Warranty applies. If the availability of the Warranty differs between goods, Manufacturer will provide Retailer with multiple Notices.
